Your regular dose of pseudosecularism

  1. JNU students to stop brushing their teeth

Marxist bastion Jawaharlal Nehru University has banned the Nescafe outlet from its campus because Nestle is a multinational.

The students and faculty of JNU are already known to be hostile towards anything related to Indian traditions. Combined with their hatred for multinationals, this leaves them with no acceptable brand of toothpaste or toothpowder as all brands are either related to multinationals or have some connection to Indian tradition. So, when you come across a JNU student who has not brushed his or her teeth, remember that it is all for the sake of the proletariat.

Also, watch out for JNU students smashing the computers on their university as the computers are made by multinationals.

  2. We don't fund DYFI but we fund DYFI!

The "charity" organization that calls itself Association for India's Development (AID), and which has got into a controversy for being connected to Communists, claims that it does not fund Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), the youth wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), but you can send your money to AID in case you want to help those who have given funds to DYFI so that they can continue doing more of the same!

  3. Naxalites are not Communists!

The latest from AID's website is that Naxalites are not Communists! The reasoning goes as follows:

Ramon Magsaysay spent his life combating communism, and it is understood that the award instituted in his honor is never given to a communist and therefore Naxalites cannot be Communists!

Meanwhile, in yet another flip-flop, AID now admits its links to Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), the youth wing of Communist Party of India (Marxist), after coming under fire for surreptiously deleting references to DYFI from its website.

So, is AID connected to Communists? Yes, but in short, No!

    According to this page

A number of organizations have started working together to handle the relief work - AID, TNSF, Pondicherry Science Forum, DYFI, Vidyarambam, Pratham and the PHM Organizations.
    but according to this page
In short, AID categorically states that it is not aligned with the communists...

  4. Violence is Gandhian non-violence!

This is from the minutes of the meeting of Asha for Education, whose founder is a supporter of a Naxalite group that calls for an "armed revolution."
    Categories of people's movements -
--> Nonviolent manner of working( Gandian -
( This does not mean passive non violence, but active non-violence and militant actions included))

  5. So were the 9/11 attacks
(Godhra train fire was "accidental": Banerjee Committee)

Turns out that the Feb 2002 fire in the train at Godhra was "accidental" and the helpful Muslims who threw stones at the dying passengers just happened to carry jerrycans of petrol and were actually trying to put out the fire when they poured petrol on the fire.
